THE TYRRANY IN AMERICA

I was going to write on the how we could start getting out of the economic mess that America is in. But, an email came across my desk that has sent me in a different direction. It brought to light again, as if I really needed it, how Christians in the U.S. are being persecuted.

I was going to write on the how we could start getting out of the economic mess that America is in. But, an email came across my desk that has sent me in a different direction. It brought to light again, as if I really needed it, how Christians in the U.S. are being persecuted.
The article pointed to the fact that no longer can people pray or invoke the name of God in speech at a commencement ceremony. This brought to mind the ruthless and illegal way the children and parents of the Latter Day Saints were treated in Texas over the past few months. Four hundred children were ripped from their homes. Moms thrown into jail. This further reminded me of the fight that went on to stop prayer in schools. Now it is being contested wether grown men and women can pray in public. That reminds me of the Biblical messages, such as the Ten Commandments, being torn off of public buildings and off the monuments to the men and women who have helped to make this country great. Or the endeavor to suppress the rights of free speech by arresting clergy that are handing out tracts on public streets.
Christians are on the run, on the defensive, being arrested and persecuted contrary to the Constitution of the United States of America. Why have we let this happen? Why has a small minority of atheists been able to destroy the Christian base in America? And, what tool could be so powerful as to override the will of the majority and the foundational tenants of our country?
The one reason is that Judges, that don’t care about God or man, have so chosen to bring their own interpretation to the Bench have turned the course of history and changed forever the way Americans and especially Christian Americans will live.
It was a judge that made the decision to take four hundred children from their moms with no reason. It was a judge that ruled that people can’t pray at commencement ceremonies. Judges ruled to take down the references to God in and on public buildings and not allow children to pray in class.
The court system of today rules with a heavy hand over the land of the used to be free. They feel the need and power to overturn choices made by people in open elections and to twist the constitution to fit their agenda.
Connect the dots, people. As long as these judges get away with the stripping of our rights they will continue to get worse and we Americans will have less and less rights. We will loose the freedom of speech. We will loose the right of free assembly. We will loose the right to carry a Bible in public and we will loose the right to own property, protect our homes and families.
Christians are still the majority in America. We can still vote. Judges at the lower levels are voted into office. It they don’t uphold the Constitution vote them out. Hold rallies, write letters to friends. Write letters to the editor. Write your elected officials.
Are we going to continue to allow judges greater power than their offices allow? Has the “will of the people” gone the way of prayer in public? Free speech is being theatened and the only ones that are suffering are the Christians.
Before we forget and articles like this are outlawed I want to remind you that God working with a person or a group makes the majority. God will make a way where there is no way. All we as Christians have to do is believe God and move forward working to right the wrongs, to stop the tide of hatred agaisnt us, to make a difference before our children have to feel the heavy boot of atheism against their necks.
Oh, by the way, here is the email that got me on to this subject.
THE SNEEZE
They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-two students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With their rich maroon gowns flowing … and the traditional caps, they looked almost .. as grown up as they felt.
Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and Moms freely brushed away tears.
This class would NOT pray during the commencements—-not by choice, but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it.
The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by t he ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families.
The speeches were nice, but they were routine…..until the final speech received a standing ovation.
A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then, it happened.
All 92 students, every single one of them, suddenly SNEEZED!!!!
The student on stage.. simply looked at the audience and said, ‘GOD BLESS YOU, each and every one of you!’ And he walked off stage…
The audience exploded into applause. This graduating class had found a unique way to invoke God’s blessing on their future with or without the court’s approval.
Isn’t this a wonderful story? Pass it on to all your friends………and GOD BLESS YOU!!!! This is a true story; it happened at the University of Maryland
