IS IT REALLY GOD’S WORD (part 2)

O.K. I have had enough. Now people are saying that the Bible has to be put in plastic bags with a warning label on it saying that it is full of violence, strong language and sexuality including beastiality. OK, isn’t that like doing it with dogs and horses?? Where is that in the Bible? Then they say “ it’s not really God’s Word it is only some stories written by men.”
My frustration is not with the unbelievers those who hate God, hate His Word and hate those “that confess Jesus as lord and believe in their heart that God has raised him from the dead” Romans 10:9. My frustration is with the Christians, especially the leaders, who say they are Christians and who say they represent God but don’t believe the Word don’t teach the accuracy of the Word and don’t defend it. There is only one reason for that, THEY, THE LEADERS OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES, DON’T BELIEVE THE BIBLE IS THE REVEALED WORD OF GOD. What is the result of their unbelief? The church (family of God) is weak and people who should be “more than conquerors” are being hurt and destroyed. John 10:10 (a). So, I am going to set the record straight.
Look at I Corinthians 1:17-2-14.
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Do you see what it says? The word is foolishness to the unbelievers. The thing that we found to be our salvation they think is foolishness.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
The world in it’s rational thinking (ha ha) didn’t have God as part of it’s wisdom and logic.
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
When Paul went up to Mars Hill (Acts 17:18-34) and preached the Word they thought he was a hick, a back country bumkin. The people on Mars Hill went there daily just to hear something new. They had so many god’s that they put a monument up to the unknown god. If any body spoke of another god than what they already had that person would be put to death because there were to many gods. But in all their wisdom they didn’t have the one true God as part of their wisdom and logic. They heard it all BUT the wisdom of God until Paul preached.. THEN the people were split into three groups; the ones that mocked, the ones that said “we will hear you later” , they both didn’t want to hear the Word but a third part “clave unto him and believed.”
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
Ca it be any clearer the Jews don’t get it and the Greeks (gentiles) think it is foolishness. You will never convince them. You can’t make it logical for them. They’ll never get it! The most that you can do is the same that Paul did. He studied the Bible and he held it forth. By trying to do otherwise is to start down the same path that God was just talking about, the road of unbelief. Where does that leave the field of apologetics? Where does that leave the efforts to “unite the churches of the world? If God’s word is right they are wrong! STOP TRYING TO MAKE YOUR OWN WISDOM AND COME BACK TO THE ACCURACY OF GOD’S WORD!
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
Do you realize that god is talking about His wisdom verses the wisdom of man?
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
Why did God send Jesus Christ into the World?
John 3:17 holds the answer For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. God loves the world. God gave His most prized possession, His son, so that you and I and ALL that call on the name of Jesus Christ might be saved. Yet, that is not good enough for the leadership in the churches. NO, they have to go about trying to make their own righteousness by first trying to unite all the different churches by man made doctrine and then to try and convince the believers that Christianity is just one of the “major religions”. Christianity is not a religion it is the way of a father with His children. Then they try to blend/meld Christianity with the religions of the world. Hey you leader types show me where it says that in the Bible!
I Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. HA!
Do you see what it says in 2:14 it says the “ the natural man” ( who is the natural man? Anybody who is not a Christian see I Corinthians 1:23) thinks that the Bible is FOOLISHNESS. You can try to reason with them. You can try the apologetics route (apologizing for being a Christian). You can argue, refute, jump up and down but it isn’t going to change their mind. The Bible will still be FOOLISHNESS to them.
JOHN 15:18-16:2
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.
23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
I JOHN 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
The Christians over the past 100 years have acquiesced to the unbelievers to the point that the leadership in the Christian churches have themselves believed the non-christians rather than God. For the most part the world has routed Christianity and has us on the run. It is not supposed to be that way. We are to be “more than conquerors” super conquerors. We can’t do it by our own wisdom. We have do run our lives by the rules and those are only to be found in the Bible.
I adjure you to come back to the only thing that saves, God’s Word, the Bible. Stop trying to meld Christianity with the religions of the world. Cleanse your hearts and minds by coming back to the truth, study the Word and believe it.
II Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Phillipians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
Hold fast the Word of God and hold forth the Word of God. That is our duty.
That is our priveledge.
