INSANITY IS NOT EXCLUSIVE

I was watching a TV news program where some people were holding signs that said “ God hates America” while others on the opposite side were holding signs that said “God hates fags”. This got me to thinking. To me it was obvious that both sides were wrong on numerous counts. But what I started thinking about was how wrong many of the stances that people have taken over the last few years are not only wrong they are insane! There are so many that I can’t elaborate on all but I want to hit on a few. Why insanity is not exclusive is that it shows up in Christianity and all religions as well as governments and just about any organization you care to mention.

The government thinking that they can continue to spend money they don’t have, this is called deficit spending, and believing there is not going to be a day of financial reckoning is insane. The only way to run a country is by fiscal responsibility i.e. if you don’t have it you don’t spend it.
Christians standing out on a street corner with a sign saying “ God hates fags” is insane. Whenever a Christian does something in the name of God it better line up with what the Bible says to do. First off we are not under the Mosaic Law, therefore, the old eye for an eye thing is gone. Second the Bible says that it is the goodness of God that leads people to repentance. Carrying a hate sign is not showing the goodness of God, it is insanity.
Christian leaders saying that Armageddon is almost here are insane. They do not know the scriptures or else they forgot the thousand years of peace before the day of Armageddon. NO man knows the day or the time. The times of these events are still hidden in God. All that we can know is that there will be a thousand years of peace on Earth before Armageddon. Because the Bible tells us so
Muslims thinking they can bring about the return of the twelfth Mahdi by causing complete chaos in the world are insane. Thankfully, I still live in a country that I can say this. Obviously, if I lived in a Muslim country I would have my head lifted from my shoulders for saying such things.
For Muslims to think that by killing innocent men, women and children is going to earn them a place in heaven is insane. That is one of the Ten Commandments, “THOU SHALL NOT KILL”. Don’t tell me that Muslims worship a different God than the Jews or the Christians. They are suppose to worship and serve the God of Abraham. The same God that says don’t kill (murder) people.
The Hindus of India are persecuting the Christians of India. This is insanity. Isn’t Ghandi the one that taught about living in coexistence and in harmony and in peace?
I bet that we could all name about ten to twenty more things that are major examples of insane things that are going on in the world. But, there is only one thing that will get us out of the insanity and that is a study and right dividing of God’s Word, the Bible.
By knowing the Christ and what was accomplished in Him and the love that God has for people and by knowing what to do as a Christian and how to do it according to God will make you free and full of joy and SANE.
The point of this article is to show that you cannot say that a religion or a form of government or the household of God (Christianity) is bad because of what some people in that religion or government or household do. The tenets, laws and guidelines of that organization must be examined and weighed: not the actions of the misguided few.
