CHRISTIANITY AND THE DOCTRINES OF DEVILS
Although what is written in the Old Testament is “for our learning” (Romans 15:4) it stills holds many parallels to what is required of us today. One of those things is the admonition from God to Israel to not follow after the doctrines of inhabitants of the land. We are admonished to do the same thing. Since the leadership in the Christian Church has not reminded the people of this Christians have mingled the doctrine of devils in with their beliefs. Therefore Christians are being taken captive by the adversary the devil at his will, many die and many more wander through this life wondering why God doesn’t answer their prayers. God never meant it to be this way. God only wants the best for the Christian!

Do you have a problem with me saying there are devils. You do? Great! We will start there because this is a doctrine of devils in and of itself. Do you believe there is a God? I am speaking to Christians here because non-Christians will not understand.
I Corinthians 2: 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
I didn’t write the book so if you have an issue with what I am saying take it up with God. He wrote the book.
II Peter 1: 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
If you want to understand what I am saying Confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord in your life and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead (Rom. 10:9). This is the foundation for any Christian!
Do you believe there is a God? Where did you get that idea? If it was from the Bible then why don’t you believe there is a devil or devils? The Bible clearly talks about the devil, Lucifer, Beelzebub, etc.
Where do you think pain and suffering come from? GOD? How could you think that when the Bible clearly states that:
I John 1: 4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
If pain and suffering and all the evil things that are done on Earth now are from God then those that do such evil are from God. If this were the case then explain to me I Peter 5:8.
I Peter 5: 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
How about tying in II Thess 1:7-10 with I Peter 5:8.
II Thess. 1: 7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
This brings me to another doctrine of devils, the one that says everybody is going to Heaven. Or, everybody has a touch of the divine in them. Or, there is good in all of us. Yes, there is good in all of us But the connotation of that is that there is no difference between Christians and non-Christians. That is a lie! There is a great difference between Christians and non-Christians. Christians have the spirit of God that Jesus Christ made available.
I Peter 1: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Col 1: 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Eph. 1: 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
How about “The Bible isn’t the Word of God”. What ever form that comes in whether it be by people saying that or saying it just a bunch of myths or that there are a lot of other books left out of final draft because of the Council of Nicia. Its all lies! Look, if God really is God Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent, The One who created the Heavens and the Earth don’t you think He could protect His Word through the ages? How silly and finite man’s understanding is.
Here are some other doctrines of devils that have crept into the Christian Church over the years.
God is too important to be bothered by the concerns of an individual. If that is true then explain Matt. 10:29-31.
Matt. 10: 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Or I Peter 5:7
I Peter 5: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
All this Harry Potter stuff about witches and magic and ghosts along with the ESP and out of body experiences are all of the devil.
Leviticus 19: 31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 20: 6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
Dueteronomy 18: 9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:
II Kings 21: 6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
II Kings 23: 24 Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.
25 And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the LORD with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.
Isa. 19: 3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. 4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
These are the tip of the iceberg of devilish doctrines that have crept into the Christian Church.
In the time when the Children of Israel were going into the Promised Land God said:
Exodus 23: 31 And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33 They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
Exodus 34: 12 Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
13 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
16 And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
Lev. 18: 6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.
7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
8 The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness.
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
10 The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
11 The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman.
13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister; for she is thy mother’s near kinswoman.
14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it is thy brother’s nakedness.
17 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
18 Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.
19 Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.
21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
Wow, do we some of this going on today? Well like I said, the Old Testament is for our learning but can you see a theme here? There are certain things God does not approve of. He didn’t approve of it back then and He still doesn’t approve of it. Yet, Christians are thinking it is OK to do this sort of thing. It isn’t!
Israel had a land given to them by God and they were supposed to occupy the land and not do the things that the other nations did because the things the other nations did were an abomination to God.
Israel was to protect their way of thinking and way of life by living separately in a land given to them by God. We don’t have a separate land as Christians. We live among unbelievers. We have to because we are to speak the Word of God to a crooked and perverse nation BUT we are not to be partakers of their feasts and of their idolatry. Nor are we to defile ourselves by walking away from God to serve the doctrine of devils.
II Cor. 6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
God’s word is clear. He wants us to worship Him and Him alone. (Exo. 20:3) He wants us to have His best (III John 2) to be more than conquerors in every situation ( Rom. 8:37) and to have a more than abundant life ( John 10:10). But, to do this we have to do what God says and that means coming back to the Word of God, studying it and forsaking the doctrines of this world.
In John 17 Jesus said:
John 17: 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
And finally look at James chapter 4.
James 4: 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
