JESUS IN FLORIDA???

From time to time I see news releases of a guy in Florida that proclaims himself Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God. I laugh,HA! The reason that I can laugh is that I know the truth of God’s word, the Bible. For the rest of society this is a real pickle.

Jose Luis Miranda (de Jesus) a man with a past criminal record, known drug dealer and divorced twice said that he had a conversation with Jesus and that Jesus infused himself into Jose Luis. This man should be a laughing stock, a pariah but instead the man has a following of millions. There is only one reason that this could be. The only reason this could be is that the people that go to him do not know the Bible. And the reason this is? The Christian leadership did not do their job and teach the people the accuracy of God’s Word when they had a chance. The people didn’t get the answer that they needed. What is just as bad they don’t know the power and deliverance of God. So this paper is dedicated to all those who want to know or who are hurting because their relative is involved in this man’s deceit. Oh, and by the way, to all you who responded on the internet to this man by saying he’s a false prophet. It doesn’t help to do that. You cannot combat this kind of thing with accusations, true or not.
Ok the first stop in our accuracy tour is a little place call logic. If you remember, Jesus Christ had a body. He walked the earth, ate, slept, and all the other things people do. When he was beaten it was on his body, when he was crucified it was his body. So, you are saying ok, so what? Well, the so what is, that he still has that body and if he has a body already then how can he “infuse himself” into Mr. Jose? Look at Luke 24:1 -8 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they ( the women that came with him from Galilee) came unto the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher. And they entered in and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments; And as they were afraid, they bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen; Remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, the son of man must be delivered into the hand’s of sinful men, and be crucified. And the third day rise again. And they remembered his words.
So, Jesus Christ, when he got up from the dead took his body with him. I’ll grant you that some of the things that Jesus Christ could do with his body after the resurrection were pretty awesome BUT it was still his BODY. He didn’t turn into a glowing ball of light and buzz around. You have been watching too much Star Trek if you think that. Everything that Jesus Christ did or will do in the future was and will be done in his own body. So, you tell me how if Mr. Whatshisface (sorry, I know that sarcasm doesn’t help the situation, but I just wanted to say that so bad) had Jesus infuse himself into him what was the point of doing that? How can you stick one body in another? That’s creepy. Look at a couple of other verses before we leave the realm of logic. John 20:19-20 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and (hovered? Floated? No, no, no, he stood) stood in the midst, and (connected to their brain waves and just had to think and they all understood him? No again. “He said”, that’s all, how simple can it get?) said unto them, peace be unto you. And when he had so said, he showed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they saw him. Why did he show them his hands and side? Because that was indisputable proof that he was Jesus Christ because he still had the holes in his hands from the nails and the hole in his side from the spear. The only beings that ever “infuse” themselves into people are devil spirits. Oops I’m sorry again because I know that someone out there just got really incensed. Get over it! I am not accusing, I am merely stating a fact. Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power (to infuse themselves into people. NO again. It was just the opposite) against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Mark 1:25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace and come out of him. And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. Jesus Christ fought against this possession (infusion) thing. So, you tell me why he would do to a person what he healed people of ?????
The train is pulling out of logic station and is moving on to the game show of “What does the Word say.” Yes, I’ll take “What came on the day of Pentecost” for $1,000, please. WOW it’s the daily double! How much do you want to risk? $5,000 please. Ok, here is your question. Colossians 1:27 says: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles, which is Christ in you the hope of glory. For $5,000 what is the difference between this verse and what Jose Luis said happened to him? The crowd watches intently to see if beads of sweat come to my forehead, because most of them don’t have a clue what the answer is. Instead of sweat and strain a smile comes over my face and the crowd knows that I have the answer (they should I’m writing this article). Actually, the proper usage is in the plural, “answers” because there are parts to this puzzle that need to be set in place. Part 1) What came on the day of Pentecost and is available to every person that does Romans 10:9&10 IS holy spirit not Jesus Christ the person. Holy spirit was on the prophets of old but nobody thinks that Jesus Christ was floating around trying to “infuse” himself with one of them. That would be silliness! Part 2) What Jesus Christ made available on the day of Pentecost is the holy spirit in each of us so that we can now say that we are sons of God joint heirs with Jesus Christ Romans 8:17. You are absolutely correct! Next category please. I’ll take When will this end for $1,000. Here’s the question “ What verses in the Bible tell us when the church that started on the day of Pentecost will end?” Oh, that’s an easy one What is I Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you ignorant brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them which sleep in Jesus (are dead) will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them that are asleep (dead) for the Lord himself shall descend form heaven with a shout, with the voice of the arch angel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air (to meet the Lord Where? Not here, not there but in the air!), so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words. Is there bonus points if I can ad to this explanation? There is? Oh, goodie! Then I would say, Ummm Matthew 24:23-27. Then if any man say unto you Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; in so much that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they say unto you , behold he is in the desert; go not forth; behold, he is in the secret chambers, believe it not; For as the lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. What? What do you mean I only get half my bonus points? Yes I know that it is talking about the end times but isn’t this guy saying the same thing? And he isn’t even doing the signs and wonders.
Let’s head over to accuracyville. Jose Luis uses Titus 1:10&11 to send his people out to shout down or to stop ministers in other churches from teaching or preaching. Well I think some of them should shut up because they aren’t much better than king Luis. But this isn’t about them it’s about Mr. Luis and how it is not nice to interrupt someone endeavoring to teach the Bible. You see They are taking Titus 1:10&11 out of context. Titus 1:9-11 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: who’s mouths must be stopped…That’s about where he and his followers stop. Do you see up in verse nine how to stop the mouths of the gainsayers? It says by holding fast the faithful word. And what is that faithful word? It is the Bible rightly divided, rightly taught. Not by going into another congregation and shouting down the minister but by teaching the accuracy of God’s wonderful Word. And by the way, if you read the first seventeen verses or so of Luke chapter four you will see how important it is to Jesus Christ to “rightly divide” God’s Word because when he is confronted by the devil his response is one thing “It is Written”.
So, whether you are lost and searching or well versed in the scriptures I adjure you to “study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” II Timothy 2:15. That and reading my articles and you won’t be “tossed too and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.” Ephesians 4:14
