Jeremiah 1: 13 And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.
14 Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.
Jonah 1:1 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
Jonah 3:1 And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.
3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
The scenarios are very similar. Both Nations had gone and worshipped other gods AND the works of their own hands. God sent His prophet to both nations with a warning that the nation will be invaded and destroyed because of their wickedness. BUT, both nations had very different reactions to the claim by the prophet.
Jeremiah 11: 19 But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
20 But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.
In Jerusalem the men plotted to kill the messenger. They didn’t change their ways they were incensed that someone would dare to question their actions.
Jeremiah 20:1 Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.
2 Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.
Jeremiah 21:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,
2 Inquire, I pray thee, of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon maketh war against us; if so be that the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us.
The people didn’t want to have anything to do with God or with His messenger. As a matter of fact they treated God’s messenger, Jeremiah, very badly. They put Jeremiah in the stocks and they plotted to kill him. Not only that, they turned their backs on God Almighty. Now, when the evil which God sent Jeremiah to tell them would happen, so that they could repent and be spared the evil that was coming, comes to pass they send to Jeremiah to petition God to bless their lives and turn back the enemy that is at their gate.
Do you see something wrong with this picture? I do! It is the same picture that is being painted today. All over our nation people have turned away from God and for years worshipped the works of their own hands or gods other than the one true God. Now, when a great evil is coming upon them they still don’t turn to God. At least Israel had some sense. The people of our nation have no sense they don’t even believe that there is a God. They think that what ever happens, happens.
The first twenty chapters of Jeremiah are God’s pleadings with the Children of Israel to change their ways and come back to God, SO THE EVIL WHICH HE FORETOLD DIDN’T COME UPON THEM!
God did try to help his people. First He told Jeremiah to tell the people to go out to Nebuchadrezzar and be subjects of Nebuchadrezzar and live. They wouldn’t believe God’s messenger. They refused to go out unto Nebuchadrezzar so,Nebuchadrezzar destroyed Jerusalem, killing many and taking as captives many more.
Compare that story of Jeremiah to that of jonah.

7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
This Country stood at the crossroads and the people turned their backs on God choosing to worship other gods and the works of their own hands. That this country will go into great tribulation is not in question! The only question is how many will die and how much suffering will God’s people have to endure before they turn back to God and seek His deliverance.

The difference between facts and truth is facts are what the physical circumstances are and truth is what God says. If you are short on money and need a job the facts are that you are short on money and need a job BUT the truth is that, as a Chistian, God is your sufficiency. II Cor. 3:5 and II Cor. 9:8. It is as simple as that. Which you choose to believe is up to you. If you believe that you are stuck and you won’t make those payments then by all means you won’t make those payments. But, if you believe that God can and will make a way where there is no way and give you the deliverance and you will make your payments then you will be doing everything in your power to find the path that God provides. You will get the deliverance that you need. The greatest gift is that of being born again of God’s spirit and the greatest ability is the ability to believe God and to walk as God wants us to walk. The Bible says we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. We have to get to the place that we believe that. God says that He is our sufficiency. We have to get to the place in our minds and in our lives that we believe that. He says that we are His sons and His daughters. Do you believe that? Do you believe that you are going to heaven and all hell can’t stop you from going?
These people that I have been talking about are good people. God doesn’t want them to go without or to suffer wrong. He wants them as well as us to have a life that is more than abundant.
We have to belive that but the only way to believe that is to study the Bible and keep telling ourselves what the Word tells. If the Bible says we are more than conquerors then we tell ourselves that we are more than conquerors, over and over and over again until our mind changes and we believe that we are more than conquerors. The Bible tells us that God is our sufficiency so we keep telling ourselves the exact same thing that the Bible says and then we go boldly to the throne of Grace so that we can get our deliverance. In other words, we pray to God.
James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
And we keep praying until we get our results.
Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
There is only one way up and out of the negative circumstances that you may find yourself in and that is by turning your eyes unto the promises of God and away from the negatives by which you are surrounded. If you are in darkness the only way to get out of it is to introduce something that is contrary to that darkness and that would be light. God and His Word the Bible are the light of this world. So, turn away from the darkness of the situation that you are in and turn unto the promises of God. Then you will see the deliverance that you so desperately desire.

There has been a moving away from God over the past one hundred years to the point that we have almost completely forgotten who God is and how this country, the United States of America, came to be. It was because of the people’s belief in God and Him protecting and prospering them that this country was formed.

I have placed the record of Daniel and the lions den here to show what Daniel did in the face of adversity and danger. He did what he did every day and thanked God where with his windows open. He didn’t give thanks in his closet or in secret he thanked God where anybody close by could hear him. That’s is boldness and a firm belief that God was his sufficiency and his deliverance.
Daniel 6:1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;
2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Many nations are calling this a military coup but it wasn’t. the military was carrying out orders from both the Supreme Court of Honduras and the Congress of Honduras.

constitution of Honduras and was going about it in a heavy handed way. When the Supreme Court told Mr. Zelaya that what he was doing was illegal and to cease and desist. Mr. Zelaya took matters into his own hands and continued to force an illegal election.
This was met by brave officials and military and stopped. Now there is a cry from dictators around the World to re-instate Zelaya as president. Some of these leaders are none other than Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega (who was ousted by U.S. backed contras in 1990, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. My mind reels as these names are read because the leaders of the United States of America are amongst the names of a pack of phony marxist Dictators. Why are our leaders crying foul when the Honduran people stand up for themselvesves? I could understand Chavez or Castro BUT why Barack Obama and Hillary????
Are not these two leaders of the free world - champions of the people? Wouldn’t they applaud a country standing up for its constitutional rights? They should be reminding the World that the Inter-American Democratic Charter, signed back in 2001, gives license to the people to protect their constitution and, yet, Barack and Hillary quote the Inter-American Democratic Charter incorrectly in their attack on the people. The Charter was designed to protect the constitutions of American countries from the military coups AND from evil dictators. The Honduran government was fully in their rights to remove the president. So, why are Mr. Obama and Ms. Clinton going against the people of Honduras and against the Inter-American Democratic Charter????
There can be only one of two reasons for this. Fear is the first! Yes, fear. The people have spoken and the dictators don’t like it. Corrupt deceitful politicians always fear the people. Throughout history when the people hav ehad enough injustices they rise up and change things. The thought that a congress representative of the people would actually stand up and take action against corruption, intimidation and evil is scary to any dictator who lives and rules by these standards.
The masses whether in person or represented by the actions of the congress and military means no more power and rule but a one way ticket into exile. That is why Castro and Chavez and Ortega Must denounce Honduras’ actions. They are afraid that they might be next, that if the people in their countries find out that their opinions count en masse then there will be no stopping the people from running them out of town on a rail, just like Zelaya.
So, again, why is Barack and Hillary denouncing the actions of the Supreme Court and Congress of Honduras? Could it be that they are afraid, also? Perhaps they know that lying to the people of the United States to get into the White House could back fire on them. Perhaps Barack’s bait and switch tactics of telling the American people one thing but secretly having his own agenda may be a ticket out of the White House. Maybe the truth will come out as to where Barack was born and America won’t like the answer. Or, could it be that the ideology of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton align with that of Hugo, Fidel and Daniel. Has America in reality given the reigns of power over to a group of people that are against all that the good old U. S. of A. has stood for for over two hundred years.
Hooray for Honduras I hope they continue to hold on to their integrity and their constitution! Any attempt to reinstate Zelaya by a foreign government, including the U.S. would be a direct violation of the Inter-American Democratic Charter.

WHY THE BIBLE
Since the inception of this blog it has been my desire and goal to give quality information that will benefit the Christian and those seeking answers in their lives. It has been tempting for me to point fingers at the elected officials and corporate big wigs that either don’t have a clue as to what is going on or don’t care as long as they can fleece another dollar out of the good people of the U.S.A.. But that doesn’t help people. As a matter of fact you can get multiple opinions from talk show hosts and television commentators as to how bad things are and how bad they are going to get and who is to blame but that doesn’t put food on the table or comfort a weary soul. There are other carnival criers with snake oil potions and amulets that will tell you that by buying their stories and products everything will be alright. These sharletons are the ones that dole out witchcraft stories or stand in the pulpit and proclaim their greatness rather than the greatness of God and the truth of His Word, the Bible.
So, rather than join the forces of finger pointers or sharletons I have instead chosen to proclaim God's love for people and how to return to God, how to pray to God, how to be found of God, and how to get the deliverance that you need in your life.

We as a collective are starting to see the cracks in that kind of thinking. The reason that is is that we have spent all of the inheritance that our fathers and forefathers had left us and spent all of our children's and grandchildren's inheritance and future. We have spent it to continue on a drunken orgy of excess and arrogance. It reminds me of the words from Jeremiah “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.” We aren’t saved and for many of us we do not know how we will find work or eat. Life as we knew it is over. What we need to do know is to forget what is past and start building a future that will last and there is only one way to do that; by building it on the truth of God’s Word. I leave you with the story that many call the parable of the prodigal son. In the story you will see that both sons were prodigal and the story is about a loving and forgiving father, one who watched continuously for a son to return so that he might bless him once again.
America is much like that son and the circumstances that we find ourselves in are much like those of that son. BUT, as we turn to God He see us afar off much like that father and He will greet us and cloth us and feed us.
Luke 15: 11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

God is always watching and waiting for His sons and daughters to turn to Him to feed them to protect them and to show Himself strong on their behalf.
II Chronicles 16: 9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.
There is nothing that will comfort the heart of a man or woman, there is nothing that will bring peace, there is nothing that will bring deliverance like an understanding of God’s wonderful matchless Word.

The gutters were falling off the weeds were high all around the house and a window was broken out of one of them. You know, when you’re out riding a horse for three or four hours there is not much for your mind to do, you butt yes, your mind, no. So, I had plenty of time to think about those houses and came to a terrible conclusion. The banks will let them and the millions like them rot to nothing! HA, you say, this guy is nuts! Perhaps but the fact remains that the banks will let the empty houses AND empty commercial buildings in this country decay, crumble and rot.

Why, on God’s green earth, would they do that? They have to! It is an unintended consequence of government interference. By now you know, or if you don’t you should know, that we had a housing bubble that burst and the values of real estate are going down nation wide, the nations biggest banks are on the cusp of financial ruin, matter of fact our government has given them billions or is it trillions ( it so hard to track of those little zeros) and to ease the banks suffering and pain the government reversed its ruling on mark to market (fair value) accounting.
Mark to market accounting means that a bank has to show the value of their assets at market value. If, for instance, you have a car that is worth ten thousand dollars but on your personal financial statement you have the value of the car as what you paid for it three years ago when it was worth forty thousand dollars then IF the government told you that you had to account for that car using mark to market you would value that car as ten thousand dollars on your personal financial statement. Subsequently, lowering your net worth by thirty thousand smackaroonies. Conversely, if you had a 1957 Thunderbird and you’ve had it since it was new and you valued it at what you paid for it back in ’57 and you had to mark to market then your net worth would shoot up like a rocket because of the value of that T-bird. That is not the case, however, for the banks.
Late last summer the banks were required to mark to market and it was shown that these banks were insolvent. That is the reason, or at least part of the reason, that banks started failing in heaps. Failing, falling, does semantics matter? The point is that they were dying like locusts shot with Raid. So, in steps our trusty, clueless, elected officials, who in one grand wave of the hand, suspended the mark to market accounting requirements.
Oh, so nice. Everybody is getting back on an even keel, the market is up, spring is upon us and, hey, even Warren Buffet says we are at the bottom. Sweet! I was almost taken in by the euphoria. HA! What happens now? Oh, on a side note: Warren you screwed up! Wasting all of those billions thinking the bottom was at hand. You are still beating the same drum hoping that people will listen and start buying enough to dig you out of your losses. I don’t think so, buddy. You will get burned , AGAIN, if you start believing your own mantra. OK, where was I? Oh, yes. I was about to explain the unintended consequence of this whole thing. So, the banks are insolvent, they have assets that are worth MAYBE thirty cents on the dollar and they get to hide that fact by keeping their assets on the books at what they paid for them. Let’s run a little scenario so even guys like me can get it.
You are running a business, poorly I might add, and you find that you have made bad decisions, really bad decisions and your company is bankrupt. But, to your good fortune, no one knows it but you. You can hide this fact by two things. 1) you don’t have to tell anybody that you are bankrupt. For example if your company had assets that were worth one million dollars and five hundred thousand dollars in liabilities , with that million dollars worth of assets your company would be worth five hundred thousand dollars.But if the truth be told, those assets are only worth one hundred thousand dollars, your company is four hundred thousand dollars under water, in the red, up side down. In other words bankrupt. But, then again, you don’t have to tell anyone. Because, you can just keep those assets valued at one million dollars. Nobody will ever buy them for a million but that’s ok ‘cause nobody is the wiser.
Now here comes another problem and the second part of the sharade. Those assets aren’t making you any money because they went down in value, the people that paid you handsomely for the privilege of using those assets stopped paying but the payments on those loans just keep coming up. Now what? Well you can take money from other assets or work that you are doing to pay for those loan payments, even though the payments are eating your company’s profits to zero or a worse. It is better to do that than to tell the truth (mark to market) because at least your company is still in business. As long as you KEEP those assets no body will know.
What the banks have done is one step better. They have told the U.S. government that they are “too big to fail.” Therefore, the government is making their loan payments for them! HA! HA HA!! If only I could have someone do that for me! I’d be giving myself huge bonuses just for thinking that up!
The bottom line is that as long as the banks hold those assets they can, conceivably, play this game indefinitely. The operative words here are “as long as they hold those assets.” As soon as they try dumping, I mean selling, those assets they will be shown to be insolvent. They will hold the houses and the commercial buildings and the office towers until the government makes them account for them in a fair valuation or the government stops bailing them out. As you can see in our simplistic example as long as the government keeps bailing them out or as long as they have money to pay their bills they ponzi charade will go on.
So, the next time you see an empty and delapidated house, commercial building or CITY, you will know that is was an unintended consequence of helping banks that are too big to fail. Let us pray that this insanity of us throwing trillions at insolvent banks ends soon so that we can start rebuilding our nation.

With the economic crisis as severe as it is it is easy to look to any source for aid. That is what I started to get caught up in but, then I caught myself and remembered where my sufficiency comes from and who my sufficiency is as well as the sufficiency of the United States of America.

It started out with a letter from the Global European Anticipation Bulletin (GEAB 2020) to the leaders of the G20 nations. GEAB 2020 is a think tank out of France. Many prominent business men and government officials read this bulletin and it has been very accurate in its ananlysis and forecasting of economic events.
The letter details four points to right the economic ship that we all find ourselves. The letter further explains that the time to implement these actions was at the G20 meeting just held. In the GEAB 2020 opinion if these steps weren’t accomplished then the world would go through an extended depression with geo-political upheaval (wars and civil wars). This extended period would be ten years or more rather than three to five years of economic depression, if the G20 leaders to the steps outlined by GEAB 2020. They almost had me hoping that the leaders of the G20 would do the right thing and pull this world out of the terrible darkness that lies ahead. Then I came back to the sanity of God’s Wonderful matchless Word.

In Deuteronomy Moses laid it out for the Children of Israel. If they followed God’s directions and obeyed His Commandments they would prosper and be blessed BUT if they didn’t they would be cursed. They had the choice and every time Israel followed God’s commandments they were blessed and every time they walked away from God they suffered the consequences.
Below is a list of a few of the curses that this nation is suffering NOW! God did not want this for the Children of Israel nor does He want this for you and me but God set the laws of prosperity and poverty down just as sure as He set the stars in their courses.
Deuteronomy 28: 28 The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
Do you think that all of Israel was crazy as we think of crazy or blindness means physically blind? No! All you have to do is look around today for an example. Trillions of dollars being given to the thieves that caused this economic crisis yet people being laid off by the hundreds of thousands every month. Our nation is blind to what to do and we are blind to what is coming.
29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.
You don’t have to be physically blind to grope at noonday, all you have to do is not know what to do, yet, know that you need to be doing something. Our whole nation is like that.
“No man shall save us” includes the G20 leaders!
30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.
The incident of sexually transmitted deseases is nearly 80% in young men and women because of the sexual promiscuity of our nation. Chances are that when you get married that your wife has slept with multiple partners. THIS IS A CURSE and yet, our society is STILL claiming it as a blessing under the title of “sexual freedom”. It is a lie!
How many now and how many yet to come are losing their homes, their livelihoods and their possessions?
33 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:
This is a curse in progress! Hillary Clinton went to China with all the mortgages that our government holds, from FHA and Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and offered them to the Chinese as long as the Chinese bought some more of our toxic bonds.
Where did all of our manufacturing go???? China! What is left?
The Chinese want our national parks and I am not sure that the Obama administration hasn’t given it to them.
Just wait until your pensions, 401Ks and IRAs are swollowed up by the federal government then you will start to understand verse 34.

We are already serving other gods, gods of wood and stone and paper (money) and metal (weekend toys). Are you sure that you are not serving another nation already? There are multiple law suits alledging that President Obama was not born in the U.S. and is not qualified for the position of President of the United States. Who was his first broadcast to? The nation of Islam. Who did he bow to? The King of Saudi Arabia. Are you sure…
37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.

Our whole nation is a debtor and YES we HAVE become the tail!

You Christian leadership – you WILL be held accountable by God for turning the hearts of the people away from God. Any time you teach something other than the purity of God’s Word in the Church you are turning the hearts of the people away from God! Yes YOU!!
48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
Looking at the G20 meeting I did not see one Christian among them. How are they going to help us? They aren’t! China will play Europe and the U.S. for the fools that we are until we are consumed!
What lies ahead for the U.S., Europe and Christianity is destruction and misery if we don’t turn back to God. One by One, make that commitment to serve God come hell or high water. He is our only salvation.
God turned the destruction of Nineveh in Jonah He can do it for us but we have to be just like the people of Nineveh.

There is no one, no nation, no agency or group of nations that can protect, defend and bless the United States or Christianity. The ONLY ONE that can do that is GOD.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

THE IDEOLOGY THAT LEADS TO PAIN AND SUFFERING
For decades, while the populace of the World wasn’t looking, the edifice of World ruin was built by flawed concepts and ideas. These concepts and ideas started entering this country in the late eighteen hundreds and early nineteen hundreds. Because of the policies and actions of people in power using these concepts and ideas, we will see suffering on a world scale and if things continue on the course that they are on now we will see wars, government overthrows and possibly World War III.
Politicians for the most part are not experts in anything. They are lawyers, business men house wives etc. that ran for office and by smiling a lot and shaking hands a lot they got elected. They have no more experience in matters of economics or international affairs than the average man on the street. What they do is rely on experts from the fields of economics, constitutional law, international affairs etc. to give them expert information and recommendations. Unfortunately, these experts have moved away from the principles that have been the foundation of Western Civilization and gone after the socialist views, the same views that brought Nazi Germany to power.
In F.A. Hayek’s book Road to Serfdom he describes this directional change in England and the United States.
“How sharp a break not only with the recent past but with the whole evolution of Western civilization the modern trend toward socialism means becomes clear if we consider it not merely against the background of the nineteenth century but in longer historical perspective. We are rapidly abandoning not the views merely of Cobden and Bright, of Adam Smith and Hume, or even of Locke and Milton, but one of the salient characteristics of Western civilization as it has grown from the foundations laid by Christianity and the Greeks and Romans. Not merely nineteenth and eighteenth century liberalism, but the basic individualism inherited by us from Erasmus and Montaigne, from Cicero and Tacitus, Pericles and Thucydides, is progressively relinquished.”
Hayek’s definition of liberalism is nothing like liberalism today but one of individualism and based on liberty not on a welfare state as we now know it.
Hayek continues to explain what happened with the shift in ideology from that which was the founding thought that brought England and the United States to prominence to that of German thinking and the foundation for Nazi Germany.
“It is significant that this change in the trend of ideas has coincided with a reversal of the direction in which ideas have traveled in space. For over two hundred years English ideas had been spreading eastward. The rule of freedom which had been achieved in England seemed destined to spread throughout the world. By about 1870 the reign of these ideas had probably reached its easternmost expansion. From then onward it began to retreat, and a different set of ideas, not really new but very old, began to advance from the East. England lost her intellectual leadership in the political and social sphere and became an importer of ideas. For the next sixty years Germany became the center from which the ideas destined to govern the world in the twentieth century spread east and west. Whether it was Hegel or Marx, List or Schmoller, Sombart or Mannheim, wether it was socialism in its radical form or merely “organization” or “planning” of a less radical kind. German ideas were everywhere readily imported and German institutions imitated.”
Hayek warns the people, of the 1940’s, that the U.S. was going down the same road as Nazi Germany. It hasn’t been till the past few years that this has become painfully evident in the manifestation of the socialist doctrine that has turned this country into a welfare state and economic doctrine that we have followed in Keynesian economics. We are about to be destroyed by the ideological path that the scholars and leaders of this country have followed for the better part of a century. Germany in its march to self destruction inflated their currency to the point that people were pushing wheelbarrows of money to the baker to by bread. Our government and economists are in the process of doing the same thing. The direction that we have taken has led us to a time where we, as a nation, are bankrupt. We have no manufacturing sector which means no middle class and we are beggars to China and other countries to buy our worthless treasury bonds. There are even reports that the Obama administration has offered the houses that the U.S. holds the mortgages to as collateral for China buying more U.S. bonds. The rumors continue to fly, in that it is said, that China wants our national parks as collateral. Collateral for loans which we will never be able to pay back.
The politicians have acted contrary to the Constitution of the United States and quit the gold standard and allowed the Federal Reserve to control the country’s banking system. Was this yesterday? No, it has been going on for eighty years but, remember, the ideas that Hayek was warning people about started in the eighteen hundreds and fermented for years in the colleges and universities of this land.
Is there one person or one industry or one administration to blame for the mess we find ourselves in? No. What we have is an ideology that was and is embraced by the intellects and elites of the country. It is a flawed model and leads only to ruin as we see and are experiencing. We are a long way from hitting bottom on this downward spiral and if history is any indicator of what is to come, if we don’t change ideology quickly, we will have war, civil and world war.
We can change; we must change the flawed model that has put us here. Keynesian economics must go. The socialist doctrine that we have been using for a century must go. As painful as it might be we have to get back to a gold standard even if it is accomplished incrementally and we must re-awaken the sleeping ideology that help found this country.

If our elected politicians hadn’t allowed the investment banks to merge with our commercial banks then we wouldn’t be in the economic Titanic that we in. If the SEC had done their job Mr. Madoff would have been caught long ago and people wouldn’t have lost $50,000,000,000. Oh, what about the political corruption with Governors selling Senate seats and national politicians playing footsie in the men’s bathroom. Until we understand that all of these things are symptoms and not the cause and until we start dealing with the cause we will continue to see these awful things continue to happen and continue to escalate in intensity and scope.

You may think that you are not being attacked, that this economic crisis we are in just happened. Nothing ever “just happens.” This may not have been a conspiracy on the physical plane but it most definitely is on the spiritual. This country has been a haven of freedom and religious freedom since its inception. Because of the continued destruction of our nation we as Christians and all safety seekers throughout the World have lost and are continuing to loose rights and freedom from persecution.
This loosing of rights did not start yesterday but has insidiously been going on for decades.Christianity has been under attack for thirty years in the U.S. and around the World to the point that Christians are afraid to say they are Christians and legislation throughout the World , including the U.S., is being passed that makes teaching the Bible a crime. You see, the fight is being waged and up to this point Christians are losing. This should not be for Romans 8:37 tells us that we are to be “more than conquerors through him that loved us.” The Bible,also, says in Proverbs 16:7 that “ When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
The fight we wage is not with flesh and blood (in the physical world) but in the spiritual realm and our weapons are not physical weapons but spirtual MIGHTY weapons! Is there any doubt as to why Christianity is under attack today in this country and around the world? It is because they have forgotten what Ephesians 6:10 tells us.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
We are to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Christians should stop fighting the symptoms with their own devices and come back to obeying God’s Word! Only then will the cause of these symptoms be defeated. Why? Because then we will be in alignment and harmony with God. When that happens then God will fight for and with us. What are the weapons that we are to be using?
Ephesians 6: 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
In none of this do I see anything about fighting against symptoms. All I see is “Stand” having on Truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith (believing), salvation, and the Word of God.

Come back, Christians, to The Word of God and take on the whole armour of God and let GOD bear His mighty arm for you. Let God bless you and prosper you. Only by putting on the whole armour of God will you finally find peace and safety for then it will be God protecting you.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE A LITTLE AT A TIME
The word insidious holds a negative connotation and could mean
“Working or spreading harmfully in a subtle or stealthy manner” answers.com
or it could mean
“developing so gradually as to be well established before becoming apparent.” Merriam Webster on line
Both are pertinant to our discussion. Americans, typically understand both definitions but use the word with only the first definition in mind. That is fine because that is the way the word was meant to be used. Such as in the desease was insidious. Or “ the influence was incidious and he became a hardened criminal before his parents really knew what happpened.” The princle here is what I am after because anything that works operates on principal and if we can understand that principle we can use it to benefit ourselves and others. That principle is changing someone or something a little at a time in a slow and steady way. We are changed like that by our society.
For example: Some people grew up in a Christian home but do not believe there is a God now. They not only believed there is a God but they practiced the things that the Bible says to do. Then they go to public school and are bombarded by the teachers saying there is no God. They listen to music with lyrics contrary to their upbringing and their beliefs. Soon, their beliefs start changing . They go to college and they are bombarded by more godless doctrine and reasoning for the non existence of God. So, after years of insidious indoctrination they come to the conclusion there is no God. But look, if we broke it down and compared the number of hours that that person spent watching TV and listening to Rap or Rock or DooWop along with all of the time spent listening to teachers and peers denying the existence of God with the number of hours spent in studying the Bible or books tapes and videos on self improvement, there is no wonder why these people turn away from God.

Look, it is just like food for the physical body. How long do you think your body will last eating junk food like Cheetos and MacDonald burgers and fries and coke and candy before it starts making changes for the worse? What if you ate the best foods? Well what about changing your thinking? It doesn’t happen over night. But it can and will happen if you use the priciples of limiting the amount of negatives that you are bombarded with each day and increase the number of positive thoughts and input. The brain is much like a computer, garbage in garbage out.
Look at the accumulative effect of this. If you studied or read for half an hour per day at the end of a year you would have studied for 182.5 hours. This is the equivalent of two college classes including study time!
On the other hand if you watch TV for 2 hrs. a day by the end of one year you will have watched 730 hours. This is the equivalent of nine college classes or eighteen 40 hour work weeks. That is four months of work.
This works with food and exercise, also. If you drink six sodas each week at the end of the year you would have drank 74,880 calories. This the equvalent of twenty one and one half pounds of body fat. If you exercise moderately for one hour three times a week you will have burned approx. 250 calories (playing darts burns 176 calories per hour). That is 39,000 calories or the equivalent of eleven pounds of body fat.
Do you see how a little bit of what you want each day and a limiting of things that give negative results that you don’t want can really change your life for the better.
There is no better time than the present to make a survey of what you do during a day and revamp that schedule to take advantage of these two little principles.

A Time to Review the Role of Government
I’ve got a question. That question is “ is the financial spiral down and the ultimate implosion of the Federal Government that we are and will continue to experience all bad?” I understand that there is a lot of bad things about it but is it all bad?
To get my perspective perhaps we should go back to how this country was founded and for what purpose the Federal Government was established. To do this let’s look at the powers given to Congress by the Constitution
Section Eight of the Constitution “Powers of Congress”
“The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties,Imposts ( import taxes) and Excises (taxes on consumable goods), to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare ( “Exemption from any unusual evil or calamity; the enjoyment of peace and prosperity, or the ordinary blessings of society and civil government. American Dictionary of the English Language 1828) of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
To borrow money on the credit of the United States;
To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;
To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;
To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;
To establish Post Offices and Post Roads:
To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;

These powers are quite a bit less than the powers that the Federal Government wields now. What has happened is that the lawyers have twisted the meaning of the words of the Constitution to the point that the Federal Government can do anything that it wants in any arena of life including but not limited to collecting enough taxes that it distributes to the states and holds hostage any state that does not comply with the wishes of the Federal Government. The Federal Government has a large control over schools. It controls just about every aspect of our lives. As you see by the “Powers of Congress” above that was not always the case.
The name "United States" was just that, to begin with. They were states that chose to unite. The states existed before the Federal Government did and in the Declaration of Independence they were called the “United States.” The states banded together for the protection of the people against tyrranny. The people gave the power to the States and the states gave the Power to the Federal Government. The Federal Government’s main objective was the protection the states and the citizens of those states. Even into the mid nineteen hundreds the states operated independently or in loose cooperation with each other and free of the Federal intervention of today. They had control of what was taught in the schools. The states had the power and the responsibility to make laws governing the day to day activities of its citizens.
Perhaps, with all of the greedy thievery that is going on in Washington and the Federal Government allowing the looting of our country and with all of the laws that the Federal Government has and continues to pass that are contrary to the desires of the majority, it would be better to once again give the powers back to the states and for the Federal Government to shrink and go back to the way it was intended.
It is time for the Governors of these “United States” to start planning for and endeavoring to wrest power from the grasp of a cumbersome, bloated out of control tyrant that our Federal Government has become.
To me this would be a bright spot in an otherwise dismal situation.

A couple of events happened in our town that were really something. One was an air show featuring the Blue Angels the other was a clinic on training and riding horses.
The air show was something to behold. Men and wonem in acrobatic planes and jets doing rolls and spins and stall outs and loop-de-loos and and and… gosh it was something. That wasn’t even the Blue Angels! They came out and flew for over an hour of non stop excitement. It was absolutely remarkable how precise those men flew. A few feet apart and at speeds of over 450 miles per hour, incredible. The horse clinic was almost as impressive.
My daughter and I are working on getting better at riding and horse knowledge so we went to a clinic. Boy O boy some of the horses that were in the first class were nuts. One wanted to run people over and had a attitude that wouldn’t stop. Another liked to kick and strike AND run its owner over. But the instructor of the course kept every body safe and got the horses turned around. By the end of the class the horses were polite, respectful and sedate. If you have ever been around horses that are disrespectful and they have owners that don’t know what they are doing then the horses usually end up hurting the owner. But this, just like the air show, was a site to behold. A man literally saving peoples lives by teaching them how to control their horses. Do you know how all of these people did all of these wonderful things? They studied and practiced long hard hours. Why don’t we see the same things in the Christian Churches?
I have yet to see a person in the pulpit that can put the Word together. By that I mean that they can explain the seeming contradictions. They wallow in tradition and the trends of the hour rather than the knowledge and wisdom of eternity. These people are blind leaders leading the blind. What we have now is an attack on Christianity world wide. It will be justified in the years to come because of the inaccuracies that these people from the pulpit spew. Don’t get me wrong, many are good meaning people BUT they are misguided. There is no excuse, though, because the information is there for them to learn but they are stuck in tradition and the dogma of their respective denominations.
The Chruch members are not guiltless in this, either. God calls unto them to renew their minds and study to show themselves approved unto God by rightly dividing the Word of Truth (the Bible) and yet how many people can name the books of the Bible? How many people can open the Bible to James or Leviticus or Ezra? They are the blind being led by the blind.
It takes study to pass a drivers licence test. It takes study to learn how to cook, sew, fix a car, do carpentry or run a computer or even the remote for the TV yet, people think they can go get a Jesus fix every Sunday without even camparing what the minister, pastor or priest says to what God says in his word. Well, I can tell you that the financial and economic problems that we face as a nation and in Western Civilization are symptoms of walking away from God. They are symptoms of sharlitons and frauds writing Bibles, that hold their interpretation rather than an honest interpretation, that work to further their agenda. These problems are symptoms of Christians being dull and non-responsive to evil and wickedness. What evil and wickedness? How about a handful of men destroying the world financial markets. How about big business pandering sex to our elementary and high school children. How about the people that should be telling people that there is 70% infection rate of sexually transmitted deseases among “sexually active” americams? Do you want me to continue? OK, how about gambling that takes everything and gives back little. It destroys families and lives. It is contrary to God and His Word and yet you accept it as entertainment. It is far more damaging than anybody thinks.

ARE YOU IN THE SAME MIND FRAME AS MY SISTER?
I had a conversation with my oldest sister today. To be able to say that is unique because my sister and I don’t see eye to eye so, we tend not to see much of each other. The conversation was a result of my two sisters and I getting together to talk about how to take care of my aging parents. At the end of our discussion about our parents we started into the topic of the economy.
The conversation started by my sister saying something close to “I wish those idiots in congress wouldn’t have voted down the Bailout Package.” This one statement led to an hour long conversation with me enlightening her about the Bailout Package and how it really isn’t a “bailout package” for us but a “bailout package” for the thieves that squandered trillions of dollars AND that this bailout package may stabilize the markets for a few months but that was it and passing that bill is a major step toward socialism.
Big deal, you might be thinking. You could say that without bringing your sister into the discussion. Well no I couldn’t because what she said and did after that little conversation took me a little bit by surprise and afterward I wondered how many others in America (the U.S.A.) are feeling the same way. My sister is a Realtor in an area that is still active but housing prices have declined 10 – 15%. This is what she said.

She cried because she was so scared and upset.
How many of you are in this boat? How many of you are looking at this huge unseemly Tsunami sized economic wave of disaster rushing in on you and you don’t know what to do? Are you an emotional basket case? Are you struggling to make ends meet? Is fear gripping you. Well, if you are reading this then you are in the right place for help.
My sister really doesn’t like talking about God and the greatness of His Word, the Bible so I started by focusing on the things that she has, rather than the things she doesn’t have, things that are immediate (the here and now) and not the maybes that haven’t come about. Taking stock of what she has is one of the first steps she and I did. It should be the second step that you should do. What we found out is that they (my sister and her husband) were making enough money to live the lifestyle that they have been living. That she was in no immediate danger of loosing her house or her job. Hallelujah! She is in better shape than a lot of people in this country.
MY SISTER: But what if the buyers can’t get mortgage loans to buy houses? It is getting harder and harder to get people qualified for loans and to get the deal closed. ME: Well yes, but, most of us have enjoyed a life style of not having to think on our feet we just take the order and the money rolls in. It is going to take more than just being one of the crowd anymore. That is why I advocate more education. The more classes and seminars you attend the more you know. The more letters behind your name the more that sets you apart from the crowd. This gives you the advantage of a larger network of people and potential business associates and it will help to keep you one step ahead of the crowd.
One of my sisters biggest problems is that she was focused on the wrong thing. Knowing about a problem and preparing for it is entirely different than staring at a problem and loosing focus on your goals. She was focused on the problem and not setting goals and going after them.
An example of goal setting and being one step ahead of the crowd for my sister would be to know that in the real estate market that there is a huge demand for rentals and if there is a huge demand for rentals and the typical home buyer can’t get a mortgage then the void will be fill by companies buying properties for rentals. There are other markets out of the local area that are booming because of the oil and gas industry. She could start working those areas. So, you see, it wasn’t hopeless.
Another thing that I suggested to her was to take inventory of her payments and debts. Why? Because it takes very little money to live if you don’t have monthly payments! If all you have are the grocery and utility bills you can live really cheap. You don’t have to make a lot of money. If you have a modest house payment along with food and utilities you still don’t have to make a huge sum of money each week. Overhead is what kills companies and it destroys families.
I told you that the “second thing” that you should do is take stock of where you are at and what you have but I didn’t tell you the first thing. That first thing is to go to God’s Word the Bible and get you thinking straight as to who you are, what you have access to and who God is. All principles for life, that work, are in the Bible. The Bible is the only book that you will find these priciples in. So, let me give you some verses that you can think about rather than continuing to look at the situations that surround you.
Proverbs 15: 17 Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.
Don’t let overhead like the car payments and the motorcycle payments etc. destroy your family get rid of them.
Phillipians 3: 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
One of the morals here is to forget what was and look forward. Set goals and see them through. What are your goals? How about getting to know God better? Not only set your sights on the goals, be so busy achieving them that you don’t have time to to look at the negatives that surround you.

Actually, there are a lot of things that have gone on over the past few months that one could be at a loss for answers. Things like all of the banks that have failed, the choice of Presidential candidates (although I am at a loss on why these two candidates I have a bigger problem and concern,) I could be questioning the hurricanes, the price of oil, the drop in the price of gold, etc. etc. etc.. But, I am not thinking about those things. NOPE! I am wondering where the Federal Reserve got the authority to lend money to private istitutions AND where the Government got the authority to Nationalize companies and double the National Debt OVERNIGHT!!!

Is anyone of our elected officials on the job? Are any of our elected officials sane enough to raise a voice of protest?
Over the past few weeks, I’m leaving the months off for right now and we’ll just deal with the past weeks) our government has made a deal to take over (nationalized) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and doubled our national debt in one fell swoop. They have just paid $85,000,000,000.00 for a failed institution (AIG) and now the rest of the companies that are feeling ill are lining up at the Fed’s door looking for a hand out. Who gave the Federal Reserve and our Government the right to do this?? Are we as a nation so blinded or our leadership so corrupt as to think this is OK, that this is something that has to be done, that these institutions are “too big to fail.” Or another way to put it is that these companies are too important to allow them to fail. Let me see if I can come up with some of the resons.
The reason the Fed. says these corporations are too big to fail is that it will hurt our economy even more. That is correct but they shouldn’t have stopped there. They should finish the thought. They should say “these companies are too big to fail while we’re still around. We know it will be worse in the long run for all involved, except us, to bail these companies out but we don’t want it pinned to us because we’re the ones that caused this mess. We allowed them to rape pillage and plunder the common folk. We know we did it but still we don’t want it on our record. Oh, yeah, we are to cowardly to try to fix it or any other real problem that our country faces.” That is what they should be saying but to them you and I don’t count. We are the worker bee’s that allow them to live the lives of gods with all the money and power they can dream of. They have forgotten who they work for and we have forgotten that they work for us.
Some of the other reasons could be that we, as a nation, are indebted to the shareholders of these corporations, entities such as China and Japan so the government cronies were bailing them out so they in turn don’t dump the T-bills that they are holding. It could be that there are just too many thieves and crooks with their fingers in the pie to allow an opportunity like this to pass by.
One of the reasons that I will dismiss is that they are just to dumb to see what they are doing. Sorry, I don’t for a minute believe that.
I want to compare the nationalization of Fannie and Freddie to the loan given to Chrysler in 1980. The money to bail out the two Fs is between ONE TRILLION DOLLARS AND FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS! The loan to Chrysler was for ONE BILLION FIVE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS. The cost of saving of the two Fs is at least ONE THOUSAND TIMES GREATER than the loan to Chrysler. Chrysler petitioned the Government on September 7th 1979. It was approved by Congress on December 20,1979 and signed by President Carter on January 7, 1980. That is a time span of One Hundred and Twenty Two days. The Nationalization of the two Fs took two days, perhaps a week if you want to add in the miscellaneous back door talks. Chrysler’s was a LOAN. The loan was ASSET BACKED, and it was paid off in a few short years. The Fannie and Freddie debacle is just debt with no assets and there is no chance that it will ever be paid back.
AIG was handled in the same manner. EIGHTY FIVE BILLION DOLLARS ( fifty six times the size of the Chrysler loan) and done in two days. So, my consternation is with our government Where did our constitution and laws change from 1979 to now that allows a few men to determine the destruction of the U.S. by laying such burdens on us, its citizens. Where are the MEN and WOMEN that we elected to represent us and protect us from such fraud. Are they too busy holding out their hands to the special interest lobbyists to care about the country? Quislings shysters and thieves all.
These hustlers and confidence men in the guise of congressmen and senators stood by over the past four years while the national debt was run up more than all other administrations put together and they said nothing. Now they stand by and watch as thieves and hucksters double our debt and reward the perpetrators that ran the companies with multi-millions dollars severance packages. What is going on is illegal and I want to know

1) Fortis , a european bank and insurance services company, published a warning a week before the collapse of IndyMac that 6000 U.S. banks will fail in the next few weeks
2) GEAB 20/20 a european economic bulletin predicts that the U.S. dollar will collapse by the end of the year.
3) If you go to 321gold you will see many articles warning of the danger to come.
4) More mortgage failures are predicted
5) Food supplies in the U.S. are at extreme lows
It is a time of extreme caution!
Things that you can do to help yourself and your family.
1) Stock up on food, clothes, shoes and anything you will need for a year
2) If you have a gun get more ammunittion (it will be chaotic before it gets better)
3) Keep your gas tank above half full
4) If you have money by gold or silver coins
5) If you have a lot of money start transfering it to a foreign bank or foreign funds (Everbank is a good start)
6) If you can, buy a house or condo in a foreign country
7) Get your passport up to date
8) Be ready to go at a moments notice.
9) If you have a job keep it
10) Keep a low profile and don’t do things (like put articles on the internet) that cause attention.
