CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY
There is a time in a nation’s history that requires the people of that nation to re-assess their life styles and their reluctance to seek God. There are two stories in the Bible of two different nations that were at this crossroad. Their records are found in the books of Jeremiah and Jonah.
TURNING TOWARD GOD
The difference between facts and truth is facts are what the physical circumstances are and truth is what God says. If you are short on money and need a job the facts are that you are short on money and need a job BUT the truth is that, as a Chistian, God is your sufficiency
REMEMBER WHAT THIS DAY IS ALL ABOUT
We are to give thanks every day, but, this one day of the year is a remembrance of what we should do every day. It is a day of thanksgiving to GOD Almighty, the creator of heave and earth and the father of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Let us remember to give thanks always and in all situations. Let us be bold in our thanks giving and herald it among those that are not saved so that we are witnesses of His grace , mercy, tenderness and love.
WHY THE BIBLE
The idols that we, as a nation, have set up in our hearts have blinded us from the reality of what life is all about. Our culture and the information that it oozes says that we don’t need God because we have plenty of goods and food and electronic devices and other distractions that we don’t need God. We as a collective are starting to see the cracks in that kind of thinking.
WHO IS OUR SUFFICIENCY?
This country WAS a Godly nation. God made this country great because of the Christians in this country and their love for God and the adherence to His Word, the Bible, when they founded this country. I don’t care what the atheists say AMERICA WAS A CHRISTIAN NATION! THAT’S WHY IT WAS GREAT! Walking away from God and His Word has only wrought heartache and misery. The great experiment of socialism and godlessness is over. If you want to save yourselves and your loved ones come back to God and His Word AND bring Christianity back to the center of this nation. It begins one at a time YOU FIRST then someone else. Revival is an individual change of mind and commitment. It is NOT a group choice.
UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CAUSE AND SYMPTOMS
Do you feel the same way I do? I, as a citizen of the United States, stand dumb founded at the shear insanity, greed and corruption that is going on at the highest levels of our government and financial markets. People, angry at the system, are starting to lash out in frustration. Iceland and Greece with their riots Much of this economic misery that we are and will continue to experience is unnecessary.
HOW TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE A LITTLE AT A TIME
This is just one example. What about what you think of yourself? How many times a day do you hear something good about YOU? Well, how many things do you hear bad about you during a day. Negatives filling your mind so that you begin to doubt your abilities, your goals, who you are and what you stand for? You multiply that by 365 days in the year and you start believing the negatives.You are fighting an up hill battle to stay positive, to believe that you can achieve and to keep a positive self image. But what if we could reverse it by limiting the number of negative thoughts and increase the number of positive ones?
WHY NOT BE LIKE THE BLUE ANGELS WHEN IT COMES TO THE BIBLE?
Do you know how all of these people did all of these wonderful things? They studied and practiced long hard hours. Why don’t we see the same things in the Christian Churches? I have yet to see a person in the pulpit that can put the Word together. By that I mean that they can explain the seeming contradictions. They wallow in tradition and the trends of the hour rather than the knowledge and wisdom of eternity.
ARE YOU IN THE SAME MIND FRAME AS MY SISTER?

I saw an article the other day stating that General Motors Corp. could go bankrupt. I know that Ford has been experiencing difficulties for years So, that gives me a lot of questions and a few recommendations.
THE TYRRANY IN AMERICA
I was going to write on the how we could start getting out of the economic mess that America is in. But, an email came across my desk that has sent me in a different direction. It brought to light again, as if I really needed it, how Christians in the U.S. are being persecuted.
EUTHANASIA
For some reason some people are starting to talk about euthanasia ( killing the weak and infirmed) as if it were OK to do. Matter of fact some people are talking that the World is over populated and that a certain portion of the population should die by a man induced plague. I want to ask just one question. What is wrong with these people????? Every Christian should be shouting from the roof tops that this is insanity.
A FORGOTTEN REALITY
In today’s world of immediate gratification, TV, Ipods, etc. we individually and collectively have forgotten a very important truth. That truth is that of -The Pleasure of Your Company. Fortunately, it is a truth that once you understand it you can take immediate advantage of it because it has been there all along.
SHOULD POLYGAMY BE OUTLAWED?
In a large and expensive looking compound in Texas hundreds of people were arrested for POLYGAMY. Mothers are separated from their children and families are torn apart. I could understand this IF…
CURRENT EVENTS COMMENTARY
I guess it is time that I should write an article responding to current events. But I don’t want to. I don’t like to. I’ll force myself to but I really don’t want to. Let me see, I could comment on the transgender guy that thinks he/she/it is pregnant or the absolute insanity of our government leaders by spending $2 Billion (yes I still capitalize it out of respect) dollars in amounts mostly around $600 dollars to individuals to jump start the economy. How about Obama’s spiritual leadership that hates white people? I could comment on the insanity of the Federal Reserve and how the world is playing cat and mouse with an economic collapse that will make 1929 look like kids stuff. Red China is back in the news. They are trying to tidy up before the Olympics by killing Buddhist monks and nuns so that the government and their “new free society” looks better than the rest of the world. I didn’t want to I would rather teach about Christ and the goodness of God. I started writing this not wanting to comment wanting to just “turn my eyes upon Jesus” but now that I started I am so P*##ed off that you are going to have to put up with me since I have a lot of computer ink and computer paper!
GOAL SETTING FOR A BETTER LIFE
I had a little conversation the other day with my daughter and her roommate and I want to have the same conversation with you as I did with them. They are both sophomores in college and the dreaded “sophomore slump” hit them
WHY I USED “MERRY CHRISTMAS”
Before this year I didn’t use the phrase “Merry Christmas”, I used “Happy Holidays”. It wasn’t because I was or am a rank unbeliever. But, quite to the contrary I know what the Word of God says and I know the history and origins of the Christmas holiday and the real meaning of the word “Christmas” and it has nothing to do with the birth of Christ. So why did I use the term “Merry Christmas”? It was because Christianity is being attacked in this country by just about everybody and it was my way of both going against the current of our society and standing with the Christians.
WAKE UP AMERICA
America is missing the point! We are going down the toilet as a nation, that is true, but everybody is saying that it is President Bushes stupidity or Congress’s blindness or stupidity or ignorance. America’s focus has been too narrow. We have been thinking that it is because of ignorance but nobody has commented about the possibility that all this destruction has been planned over several administrations. Is this another conspiracy theory OR is this a fair appraisal of the actions of our present and past leaders? It is time you expanded your view. There is a trend. I don’t know for sure if it started back when the Federal Reserve System was started or when FDR uncoupled the dollar from the gold standard or when Nixon uncoupled the dollar from the silver standard but over the past twenty five or so years there has been a literal flood of acts and laws that have taken the U.S. completely away from what it was and what it stood for into something ominous and threatening. Perhaps I am wrong and all of this is a result of very educated men and women not knowing economics 101 or ethics or biblical principles or constitutional law. Maybe they are ignorant of the facts concerning our perilous and tenuous oil supply. Maybe?
INSANITY IS NOT EXCLUSIVE
Christians standing out on a street corner with a sign saying “ God hates fags” is insane. Whenever a Christian does something in the name of God it better line up with what the Bible says to do
CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A RELIGION
Man, not God, labeled Christianity a religion when man started denying the power of God. When you look at the truth of God’s Word Christianity is the way of the Father with His children.
WHY WAR?
A nation has to have beliefs that it holds near to their heart, things that are non-negotiable, for it to stay a nation. If it doesn’t then it will cease to stay a nation because it will be destroyed from without or within. The reason it will be destroyed from without is because it’s citizens have no internal substance, no beliefs, no moral compass, nothing that they would hazard their life to defend. They will be destroyed from within because they will allow their leadership to wax more and more evil taking away the freedoms and wealth of the people for the benefit of the leadership. We are at that point in our country right now.
Olympics, Here We Come, Maybe
As I looked through the headlines on World Net Daily my attention has been arrested by the Headline “China sweeping Christians out”. It seems that the Chinese government has decided that Christian missionaries aren’t worthy to stay in China before or during the Olympics so the Chinese government is expelling them. So, let me see if I have this right, the whole Christian world is invited to China for the Olympics. But, to have the games all missionaries have to get out. Have I got that right? Now I have a problem with that and EVERY CHRISTIAN IN THE WORLD, should have the same problem
