A PERSPECTIVE OF THE END TIMES FOR CHRISTIANS (PART 1)
In the next few years there will be a lot of talk about the end of the World by different means, whether by nuclear holocaust, magnetic pole shift, by Planet “X” or by other means and many will use the Bible to support their claims quoting from Revelations or Daniel or other books of the Bible regarding the end times. I see this as an effort to cause Christians to fear in their lives and in their hearts. Because of this I have decided to write about what I know of the end times both biblically and scientifically. I pray this blesses you and settles your mind on this matter.
WWJD – JWB
For a long time the acronym WWJD meaning “What Would Jesus Do” has been floating around. But NOW you are about to find out the answer to that question. The short answer is that JESUS WOULD BELIEVE THE PROMISES OF GOD! Now the question is “will you follow in His footsteps?”
THE TRUTH OF II CORINTHIANS 2:14-16
Sometimes it is hard to understand the Bible due to a lack of understanding of biblical times and the culture of that era. II Corinthians 2:14-16 is based on the culture of Rome 2000 years ago and without that knowledge it is impossible to understand this passage. However, with an understanding of the Roman Triumphant Procession from that period this passage come to life and gives the Christian cause for rejoicing.
LIGHT VS DARKNESS
II Corinthians 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
THE ORIGINAL SIN
In Genesis God shows us the workings of the Devil and Adam and Eve’s spiral downward to the sin against God that has put all of mankind into the terrible fix that we have been in over the centuries. In the G
DOES EVERYTHING HAPPEN FOR A REASON?
What I want to do is yell at them that that is not true! I want to pull my hair out (what is left of it) and shout at them that God is good and that they are wrong, but, I won’t and I don’t because it wouldn’t help them. It would only hurt them and confuse them. So, what I will do is teach you the truth from God’s Word so that you are not in the same boat as these folks, saying with their mouths “everything happens for a reason” and yet, inwardly, wondering why it happened to them or theirs and all the while hurting from the emotional pain.
CHRISTIANITY AND THE DOCTRINES OF DEVILS
Since the leadership in the Christian Church has not reminded the people of this Christians have mingled the doctrine of devils in with their beliefs. Therefore Christians are being taken captive by the adversary the devil at his will, many die and many more wander through this life wondering why God doesn’t answer their prayers. God never meant it to be this way. God only wants the best for the Christian!
