The idols that we, as a nation, have set up in our hearts have blinded us from the reality of what life is all about. Our culture and the information that it oozes says that we don’t need God because we have plenty of goods and food and electronic devices and other distractions that we don’t need God. We as a collective are starting to see the cracks in that kind of thinking.
“ I am so emotional. I was in an emotional rut for the first half of the year and didn’t sell anything. I am selling stuff now but I am afraid the economy is going to get worse and I can’t go back to physical labor. I am not trained to be a secretary. I don’t know what I am going to do.”
