From Genesis 3:15 until Luke 4:8 the world looked forward to the coming of the messiah, the one who would save mankind form the sin and iniquity caused by Adam’s transgression as described in Genesis 3: 6&7. However, since Christ’s resurrection there is a new promise to the Church of the One Body taken out of both Jew and gentile. Why aren’t the Christian churches of today teaching that promise and looking forward to that promise?

ver the past few weeks I have been studying the first five books of the Old Testament along with some of the New Testament and then I sat down with my family to watch some television. Let me just say that I believe that television usually rips the Word of God out of a person’s heart but, that is for another time.

As I walk through this life I endeavor to work on different aspects of my life to improve it. Lately, I have been thinking and working on “God first” in my life. I started thinking about this because I have been taught that God should be first in my life and I am reminded of that each time I pray (thank God) for the food that I am going to eat. Honestly, I could do a better job of praying before every meal. So, that is what got me to thinking about God being first.
